Kona Out Reach Team

So a team of 9 amazing young adults have been here in Tauranga, Nz for a little over a week now. They are a team from Kona, Hawaii who like our DTS here have a focuss on the prayer movement as well as the missions movement-we do not see them primarily as two separate movements, rather, we see them as one movement and we are giving our time and energy to breaking down the barriors that have hindered the two streams from working together! God is doing some amazing things in the midst of this prayer/missions reformation, which in essence in mot anything new but just what has always sparked revival and reformation; the marrying of the prayer and missions movement.

The team have been spending 4 hours a morning with us at the house of prayer and spending 2-4 hours in the afternoon to scour our streets and our malls to evangelize!

Here is a brief story from one of their adventures into Bayfair Mall: They did this thing that has been coined as a 'Tresure Hunt'; The idea is to pray for a name , picture , place , ETC, and then go look for them! So they got a picture of man wearing an orange shirt. They spent some time in BAyfair and finally when they almost went back to the drawing board a man with an orange shirt came in to their sight. The team approached him and found out that he had pain in his knee's! The team prayed and the pain left the guys knee's!!!

We are super excited as a community to see these guys going for it.

Please pray for them as they will be heading to Quam in less than 2 weeks.
