In October of 2009 the Lord began to draw my attention towards the M.E. What began with a dream, a month long of random prophetic words and some other insane divine appointments; not to mention the way the Lord began to speak through the bible in such obvious and apparent manners, my heart came alive in prayer for the M.E. people groups. As I began to wrestle in prayer for the M.E. and God’s heart towards the M.E. I soon realized that the Lord Himself was knitting my heart in a way that was more than to have prayer meetings for them.
In October 2010 I lead a small team to the M.E. With few contacts and few open doors we embarked on an 8 week adventure that lead us on a huge circle around an amazing country. Our main objective at that time was to pray and worship everyday in every city we stayed in. While in the M.E. the Lord gave me 2 words that would indicate an eventual long term stay. One came from a prophetic woman and the second came from the Lord directly pertaining to a specific city.
Since that time the Lord has stirred up 9 people to move there full time to serve as local, regional and international training unto Church Planting with the hope of storming the M.E. with a major Gospel initiative, to bring the worth and glory of Jesus to the Islamic World.
I am currently in the M.E. with a few other guys who will move their families here on a long term basis. We are on a scouting tour, primarily to acclimate ourselves with the culture!

For many, especially Americans, the thought of moving to the M.E. is a burial plot. Yet, we send hordes of Americans to the M.E. with guns in the name of freedom. What about the millions upon millions of souls that linger over the depths of hell. Where are those who will gladly respond to the call of God for these nations! Yes, physical death may happen as it does happen to all, but the supreme pleasure of God's glory and worth being served to those who the West ignorantly views as evil and hostile far surpasses growing old and dying in the comfort of the west! And, at best, say an early burial plot come upon those brave souls who gave up the comfort of the West, will they not awake in everlasting glory with the most beautiful and worthy being in existence!
Some are genuinely called to the west! If that is you, praise God in the highest. But those of you using that notion as an excuse to preserve that way of life I bid to you to re-evaluate the nature of your decisions! The great and final missional thrust will send high percentages to what we call the 10/40 window! Islam! Will Christ not receive the reward of His suffering in the hardest of locations?!
Our time here thus far has been one of enjoying one another, enjoying the workers who have already began the journey of sowing their lives to the M.E., enjoying the rich historical and cultural landscape and enjoying the discovery of God's heart and redemption for these people! We are currently enjoying the company of many workers who have gathered at a conference from all over the land! Many awesome people who have labored, some longer than others, for Christ to be glorified in this nation!
I will write more in one week when i return to New Zealand where Keri and I are currently serving! Please keep us in your heart! Pray for us often! We are eternally grateful towards those who have partnered with us in much prayer!!!
